Le choix d'une Épouse

L'Islam a attaché une grande importance à la question du mariage dans son système social. Il ne prescrit pas une vie monastique ou retirée. Au contraire, il encourage le mariage, car il est l'une des Sunnah (traditions) du Prophète (Que la Bénédiction d'Allah soit sur lui et sur sa Sainte Famille). Toutefois, il est à rappeler que le mariage ne doit pas être établi uniquement en vue de la satisfaction du désir sexuel. D'autre part, son premier objectif doit être de donner aux époux des enfants respectueux afin que le nombre des adeptes de la Vérité croisse.

The imam of the center is Sheikh Ali Sobeiti.

He was born in the holy city of Najaf in Iraq. He started his religious studies in Lebanon then Iran.
He immigrated to Montreal Canada in 1988 and went back to Qom, Iran, to continue his religious studies. Few years after he came back to Canada to serve the community.
He founded several associations and community centers all across Canada (Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, Windsor, Niagra Falls, Vancouver, Edmonton). He is the author of several articles and books.
He is presently the Imam of El-Hidaya Association and Centre Communautaire Musulman de Montreal (CCMM).
Active member of several committees and bodies involved in the community and religious activities across North America.
